Courses

Flight Examiner Training is the leading provider of Examiner Standardisation Courses, with hundreds of successful graduations since 2006.

FET provides ground and flight training based at Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) in the UK and overseas. AoCs are normally conducted at the training location by CAA inspectors - or Senior Examiners authorised for the purpose.

Examiner Standardisation Courses are approved by the UK CAA and include:

  • Flight Examiner (PPL) Course
  • Flight Examiner (CPL) Course
  • Class Rating Examiner (CRE) Course with IRR (and OPC privileges,if required)
  • Instrument Rating Examiner (IRE) Course
  • Flight Instructor Examiner (FIE) Course

Courses last around one week, and are best run with a pair of applicants.  Courses include comprehensive ground school and practical sessions in SE and ME aeroplanes as well as the use of an FNPT II.  Clients will not be put forward for an Assessment of Competence with the UK CAA until they are ready.  The AoC is usually booked for a chosen location and takes place soon after the course is completed.

For those who already hold an Examiner Certificate, an abridged course will be available, both in terms of theoretical training and flight profiles.

Since many of the courses we run are tailor-made, we suggest that you contact us directly so that we can determine the most appropriate package and advise you of the probable length and the inclusive price.
